Canine Explorers Adventure Program
Canine Explorers is a structured adventure and enrichment program for dogs who need more than a walk or backyard time. This program focuses on mental stimulation, confidence building, and practicing calm behavior in real-world environments.
This is not daycare and not a traditional training program.
What Canine Explorers Is
Small-group, guided adventure outings where dogs are transported to parks, trails, and dog-friendly outdoor locations.
Dogs participate in:
Structured walks and exploration
Sniffing and environmental enrichment
Calm group movement
Supervised, intentional time outdoors
Dogs are on leash or long line unless approved for off-leash time.
Approval Requirements
Dogs must:
Be non-aggressive toward people and dogs
Be comfortable being handled and transported
Have basic leash manners
Be up to date on vaccinations and on flea/tick medication
Approval may require an evaluation or existing training relationship.
Pricing
Single Adventure
$120 per outing
Explorer Package
4 adventures
$400 total
Packages must be used within the 2 months (exceptions made if adventures are ever canceled)
How It Works
Runs Every TUESDAY, weather permitting
Pickup and drop-off available for local clients
Small group sizes for safety and quality
Several hours total including travel and adventure time
Dogs are actively managed the entire outing.
Who This Program Is For
Canine Explorers is a good fit for dogs who:
Enjoy being outdoors
Need more mental enrichment
Are social or neutral around other dogs
Do well with structure and supervision
This program is not appropriate for dogs with active aggression toward people or dogs.
What Dogs Practice
While this is not a training program, dogs naturally practice:
Loose leash walking
Checking in with the handler
Calm behavior around distractions
Appropriate group behavior in public spaces
Many clients pair Canine Explorers with private training or day training.
Safety and Structure
Safety is the priority on every outing.
Dogs are grouped by size, temperament, and energy
Long lines are used when appropriate
Off-leash time is earned, never automatic
Locations are chosen carefully
Participation is approval-based only. with private training or day training.
